Audition with the Riverside Opera Company

Dear Opera Singer, we invite you to audition with the Riverside Opera Company! Auditions are on Sunday, September 27th, at Playwrights Horizons, 440 Lafayette Street, Studios 4A and 4D, Manhattan, NYC, from 2 to 5:30 PM. You'll be assigned a specific time to perform one aria from your list of six. Please bring your resume, photo, and complete repertoire, including duets—all on one page. The $50 fee secures your audition and covers space, pianist, and production costs. 

 

Judges will choose 6 winners to go on to perform with an opera orchestra that has performed at Carnegie Hall twice in one year, as well as other solos with piano before a live NYC audience. Singers can earn $600 to $1200 in one season for 3 to 6 performances. 

 

Some of our winners have gone on to sing at the Metropolitan Opera, and one at La Scala!
