ROC Auditions

The Riverside Opera Company is holding auditions on Sunday, October 12th, from 2 to 5 pm in Studio 4G at Playwrights' Downtown Studios, 440 Lafayette Street, NY, NY 10003

Each singer will receive 5 minutes to perform an aria(s) chosen by the judges from the submitted repertoire list.

Audition winners will receive an opportunity to sing with a professional Opera orchestra on November 8th, 2025, and May 23rd, 2026, which has performed at Carnegie Hall, and a $200-300 stipend. There's one rehearsal with the orchestra. There will be other opportunities to perform throughout 2026( no rehearsal), so you could earn $1,200 and priceless public exposure.

We hold these auditions once a year to provide a public performance platform for emerging and already established talent to continue their craft. Many of our winners have gone on to sing in Europe and at the Metropolitan Opera.
